Team work. Most spiritual traditions teach that life is best experienced in the context of community. That is certainly true for the journey of recovery for those of us who are in professional ministry. We need a safe place where we can practice the rigorous honest required to maintain our sobriety alongside others on the same road.
Group coaching takes place with two or more people at the same time via teleconference or an online meeting tool. It centers around a specific aspect of recovery unique to clergy persons with the added benefit of synergistic group support.
In a group coaching community, you will benefit from learning from each other, contributing to another person’s recovery journey, be exposed to different perspectives on recovery, and developing a sense of family many pastors and ministers miss out on.
“Shane has been a true friend and mentor to me in my recovery. He is very understanding and always has good suggestions. I'm grateful to have Shane as a resource.”
